When everyone started seeing how dumb Sarah Palin is I was reminded of the time George Bush nominated his good friend Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court and the country collectively said “WHAAA?”. He withdrew her and put in Alito and nobody really cared because we figured we’d just avoided disaster. It was a bait and switch. I figured that people were going to get freaked out by Sarah Palin and then she’d step down and McCain would pick Mittens Romney to replace her and at that point everyone would say, “Oh, the Mormon version of the Westworld robots? He’s not so bad!”
